Sat watching a movie with the wonderful hubby last night and struck by inspiration for a change in my book. Bless him he is so supportive that he encouraged me to turn the movie off and rewrite the last two chapters. I am so excited to get this edit done now. Just need to find more time in the week. #aspiringauthor #inspiration #lovetowrite
So I have been trying to do at least one run a week this year. (Doing Bodycoach with the kids the rest of the week). And I am celebrating today as it is the first one of the year I mostly enjoyed. I only do interval jogs. But dam it has felt like hard work. Worth preserving for that one enjoyable run. Hanging now but happy. #running #stickwithit #thehappypath
So my hair has been mildly disappointing in the bed head stakes recently but guess it was saving it up. I call this the quiff. #lockdownbedhead is this seriously what passes as entertainment in my life right now. Anyone see me out on a jog with the quiff feel free to throw random Elvis quotes at me.
When I see these soundboards they look so complicated. Life is even more complicated. With all the variables surrounding us influencing our day. It is easy to get caught up in trying to manage it all. It is so freeing when you start to learn which of the knobs you can control and focus on these. You are never going to be able to control everything. Happiness comes when you find those things you want to control and apply effort to controlling them. #thehappypath #mentalhealth #letitgo
